CONDITIONING EQUIPMENT UPGRADE

The transformation of existing equipment for the adaptation to the manufacture of new products is an opportunity to carry out other modifications. Upgrading security or improving ergonomics are essential points. The customer wanted to reuse an existing machine to package a new product in a new box design. A Staubli™ four axes robot with a custom designed gripper is installed adjoining the existing machine. A protective glass casing respecting the design of the existing machine ensures the safety of the operators.
